Changing plan and only pay the price difference

    Hi,
    I have a site under the Premium plan and would like to switch to Business. When I choose the Business plan it says that I have to pay 204 Euro (because I already have a site on WordPress). Could you tell me how I can get my actual subscription (99 Euro) deducted from the Business plan price (I have just renewed my Premium subscription and would not like to have to pay twice…

    As far as I know, when we move from one paid plan of WordPress.com to another paid plan of WordPress.com, the amount gets adjusted on its own. So, for example, if you have already paid 96 USD for WordPress.com premium plan and if you are switching to WordPress.com Business plan (which is of 300 USD) immediately after making the payment for the Premium plan, you will be charged 204 USD at the time of payment. However, please note that this may not be the case if the WordPress.com Premium plan is at renewal.

    I am adding modlook tag here for staff intervention and I suggest you wait for their response as my above solution could also be wrong. They are the ones who can help you with this query and confirm if I am right.

    Hi Philippe,

    As @vaidehisingh correctly pointed out, since the Business plan costs 300€ and the Premium plan costs 96€ (used to be 99€), to upgrade you need to pay the difference which is 204€.
