Changing Post Order to Chronological
-
I’m having a problem changing the order in which posts on my catfishingbasics.com blog (specifically, the “POSTS” page) display. I want them to display in chronological order, vice the default reverse chronological order.
From WordPress.com Help (specifically, “Show your Posts in Chronological Order”), I gleaned that pasting the following shortcode in the text editing box within my “POSTS” page might do the trick:
[display-posts order="ASC"]
It did not. Any ideas as to what I may be doing wrong and what I may be able to do to easily get my posts to display in chronological order?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The display posts shortcode won’t automatically reverse your post content, it’s designed to create a list of posts wherever you include it (in a page or text widget for example) and it can have it’s order set. To make use of it you would need to use it on a static page and then set that page as your front page.
The other suggestions on the chronological ordering are worth trying out but the only one that has the intended outcome (with some side-effects) is manually setting the post dates to force the order you would like.
