Changing pre-set heading styles
-
Hello,
I am using the Canape theme and through that have set up three “menus” (Services, Industries, and About Us) on the first page.
When you click through to each of these pages, the headings have a ‘~’ on either side – is there a way to remove these?
Thanks in advance!

Depending on whether you have a plan that allows you access to the Customizer’s CSS editor, you can add two lines of CSS to remove these symbols. Be sure to thoroughly check the theme settings for an option in the user interface, this would be the easiest way.
Otherwise, make sure you can edit CSS through the Customizer. Go to your admin screen and click Themes (Customize). When you are on the Customizer page, look to the left-hand column for a CSS tab. Here you can add this line of code which will remove the ‘~’ from before and after the headers:
.menu-group-title:before, .menu-group-title:after { content: none;}If you do not have an option to edit CSS, you will need to upgrade to a plan that adds in this feature. It appears that the Premium plan is what you would be looking for.
