changing pre-set images in the free template

    hi, do you know if you need to purchase a plan before you can change the images in the template? I do not need a domain and hosting, I have it bought with 123reg, not sure if I have to upgrade to be able to customise

    You’ve just created a free site https://duneistean.wordpress.com/ here at WordPress.com. You can easily edit/delete any sample pages/posts. Perhaps you didn’t need to create a site here and have another site that you are working on as you say:

    This forum can’t help with sites hosted elsewhere that use the WordPress.org software. But if you mean that you wish to use your 123reg domain with this WordPress.com site then a Personal plan or higher would be necessary.
