Hi there, Premium themes are a one-time purchase and that Premium theme is then available for the life of your site on WordPressdotcom.
Like all upgrades, there is a 30-day refund window, so if you are within the 30-days from date of purchase you can cancel and refund and then purchase a different Premium theme. If it is past that 30-day refund window, the theme is yours. https://en.support.wordpress.com/premium-themes/
If a Premium theme doesn’t work out we offer a full refund up to 30 days from your purchase. To cancel your purchase and obtain a refund, please use the Cancel button on Purchases page https://wordpress.com/me/purchases
Hope that answers your question, but let us know if you need any other help.

Hi ashodara,
After having paid in advance for one year for a premium theme
I checked your account and I can see you purchased the Premium plan rather than a premium theme. This plan includes unlimited access to premium themes, which means you can switch to a different premium theme as often as you like, at no extra cost.
Without the Premium plan, premium themes would need to be purchased individually — in which case the 30 day refund period @justjennifer mentioned would apply if you changed your mind.
