Changing Primary Address on Business Plan

    Hello,
    I’m wondering if it’s possible to change the subdomain part of my site? I’ve read the directions on how it’s supposed to work here (https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/) but I don’t have the 3 dots next to the domain in my case.

    I plan to eventually attach a custom domain, but would like to something more generic as the non-custom domain.

    Is this a restriction of a business plan? I also have had an import fail so the site in general appears to be in a poor state.

    Hi there,

    You’re correct that if you’re on the Business Plan and using plugins, you won’t be able to change your site’s free address. See:

    As your site is currently still private no one can see that address at the moment, and that address will be completely invisible to your site visitors once you add your custom domain, which I assume you’ll be doing before you publicly launch the site.

    I see we’re helping you via email with the import issue, and Andrew replied to you there earlier today. Please reply there for further help with that.
