Changing Privacy Settings

  Hi there,

  My blog is currently private but I am going to make it public.

  However, I have some individual entries which I ‘privately published’ as well, will those stay private if I make the blog itself public?

  Will I have to go back through and make individual entries private again?

  The blog it’s given at the bottom of my post isn’t the one I’m referring to, that’s my already public one.

  The posts and pages you made private or password protected will not be affected by changing the blog visibility to public. To change blog visibility to Public go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 1 . See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  My response above applies only to blogs hosted by WordPress.COM and not to WordPress.ORG software installs. We cannot provide accurate answers to any blogger who fails to provide the exact URL starting with http:// for the exact blog they refer to so we can verify where it is hosted. Please do that now.

  Yes! That’s a WordPress.COM hosted blog URL so the good news is what I posted above applies to it. :)
