changing profile/personal options

  In my Your Profile and Personal Options I want to change my e mail contact address. When I do and click Update Profile it reverts back to original. What can I do?

  Check your original email address for a confirmation link.

  I did the same thing to mine, trying to change the e-mail address in the Profile and Personal Options, and checked the original email address and didn’t receive a thing.

  What do I do now?

  That’s right. The e-mail is associated with another WordPress account. I only found out about it when using Contact Support.

  Perhaps WordPress could just give out a message of some kind when going through the profile update, so we don’t go around in circles trying to figure out.
