Changing public blog to private

How do I change my public blog to the private blog without losing my followers? And is there an easy way to notify them of how to have them sign up? (if that is necessary)

As soon as you change your blog to private, it becomes just that ‘Private’ so you would have to invite those people to view it. There is no easy way of telling everyone, other then posting it on your blog before you set it to private, and hope they see it. If they haven’t already got a Username then they would need one to view your blog.

When i say they would need a Username to view your blog, obviously you’d have to invite them first!

goto dashboard discussion reading-if you wish, you can set yout blog to be private,with a password,and yes after you should email,all your followers, to let them know, or to be private with their own usernames and passwords
