Changing public name

  I changed my blog name to what it is now, but my public name still shows the old name. I’ve tried using the settings to change public display name but it doesn’t seem to be working. Can anyone help me please to change my public name to my current blog name? Thanks.

  If you want to have that as a display name (omitting the space, of course) then following these instructions should work for you. Do note that the display name will not change here in the forums. http://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/#change-display-name-nickname If those instructions do not work then you will have to contact Staff when they reactivate the support link 8AM UTC on Monday 20th June.

  I’ve tried this way many times and it doesn’t work. Do I contact staff through here to re-activate the link or do they contact me through here, as the above email link you sent just takes me back to the forum menu?
