changing publicly displayed name

  I changed my nickname and my publicly displayed name, but my user name still appears on my blog.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I see elfschristmasmagic as the author on all posts.

  Log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and take another look.

  I did all of the above, and it still comes up as littleelves blog.

  That is the title of the blog, not the nickname. You change the title and tagline (line under title) at settings > general.
