Changing Search Description

  Hello,

  I am having a problem changing the description that shows up on my site through a google search (the 1-2 sentences). It shows something from when I started the site, saying that the site will be ‘soon up and running’. I obviously wan to change that now that the site is full-functioning. How do I do so?

  Hi Jordan,

  The best thing to do is verify your site with Google Search Console. They used to call this ‘Google Webmaster Tools’:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/

  Once you’ve verified your site with that service, they re-index your site more easily and the site descriptions will update more often.
