changing second blog to its own account

  Hi,

  I just created a second blog using the ‘register another blog’ button. I’m finding having the two blogs together too confusing. Is there any way I can set the second blog up with its own account?

  Ok, thanks. But I can’t use the name of the second blog as the new account name, is that right? Am I now just going to end up in the same situation with one login name for the account and a second name for the blog name?

  Yes, just create a second account with another name. The blog URL for the second blog will not change. Usernames do not have to match the blog names/URL’s.

  On each account, you can change the name that is displayed in the blog as the author and that will appear on comment when you are logged in, to whatever you like under settings profile “nickname.” Create a nickname and then set that as display name from the pulldown right below it.
