Changing Setting with Vimeo Shortcode
-
Hi All– having some issues when trying to embed a vimeo video using the new wordpress shortcodes. There doesnt seem to be any way to change the size of the video, the color of the player, or disable the title, portrait, or byline. Is there a way to do this that I’m missing? right now I have posted:
[vimeo "73183466" color=107c9c width=800 height=450 byline=0 title=0 ]
Thanks!

Hmm… that posts the video, but the setting aren’t working. It’s letterboxed with the standard blue interface. Is it different for you?

If you do not see the options that you want to implement here http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/vimeo/ then it’s a no can do.

P.S. I removed the video from my test blog right after I tested it and cannot recall anything other than it was operational.

So then there’s no way at all to be able to embed a video with the specified settings, even if I’m not using the shortcode?

Same here, it won’t embed the code. I try putting in a hubnut from Vimeo, which is their version of a playlist and when I go to update, the whole code disappears. I tried the same thing on my wordpress.org and it worked fine. I notice that the wordpress.com will take the Vimeo shortcodes, but I would really like to use the hubnut/playlist. It make it so the audience does not have to scroll down a page to see the list of videos.
