Changing Settings
-
Hello!
I have been wanting to change the settings of my blog, including the tag line for quite some time. Today I finally decided to do it. I hunted, found something about it in the guide, but then NONE of the options under settings were there to do it. I go to settings and I get in the main box; “Account Options” which are username, email, web address, and language interface. Underneath that is “Account Recovery.” The box on the left is: Account, Password, Public Profile, My Apps. Nowhere am I finding the information I need and/or want.
please help. I am working on a Mac, and this site is not well liked on Chrome, so I have been using Safari.
Thank you.
Mel

Hi there,
Provided you are logged in under the username account that registered the blog Site Titles (Blog Names) and/or optional Taglines can be changed at any time here > Settings > General. -
This doesn’t work. I have the same problem as the person who started this. There is no General section! and i am logged in correctly.

That sounds like the OP is not logged in under the username that is the Admin of the blog.

I am the owner of the blog, and the only person who has, and can, post on it. However, there is no General section.

There is a General page on every WordPress blog that’s accessible to the username account that registered the blog. Try this link
