Changing site address

Hello!
Hope you are well.
I was wondering if it’s possible to switch addresses between my WordPress pages. I wanted to change my main WordPress page (messiahleper.wordpress.com) address to sherpahossainy.wordpress.com (another page of my own). When I try to change messiahleper.wordpress.com’s address it’s saying sherpahossainy.wordpress.com isn’t available. If I delete my (sherpahossainy.wordpress.com) site and try to change again will that work? Just didn’t want to delete that site unnecessarily if that option is not available.

Thanks a lot for getting back to me! The address sherpahossainy.wordpress.com also belongs to me. Would that mean I can switch/change between my addresses? Thank you again!

Actually, it seems from the topic link you posted that the switch isn’t possible between your own addresses either. Cheers!

Yes, site addresses cannot be moved to a different site. But you can import the content if you wish to add content to the site address that you already own: https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/#using-a-wordpress-com-site-address-you-already-own
And if your site address (sherpahossainy.wordpress.com) is on another WordPress account you can transfer and use it from the same account: https://wordpress.com/support/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account

Hi there,
Just an additional note that to switch an address between two sites by importing/exporting, you will need a third site – this is the same as swapping the content of two glasses of liquid: you’ll need to move site A’s content to site C. Empty site A. Move site B’s content to site A. Empty site B. Move site A’s original content, now on site C, to site B.
