Changing Site from Business to Personal

    Hello,

    When creating my site, I chose business instead of personal. How do I change it personal? The site will be used mostly for blogging. Thank you!

    Hi there!

    You do not need to change anything. Those questions when creating your site are just meant to help us suggest a theme or domain for your site.

    You can change your theme at any moment from wordpress.com/themes

    Let me know if you have any more questions regarding that.

    Hi there, hope you don’t mind me adding that if you like the theme you’ve chosen, but would like your blog posts to appear as your site’s front page/homepage (if they are not already appearing there), you can change your site’s front page from a static front page (which displays unchanging content) to your Posts page (dynamically updated each time you publish a new blog post).

    If you don’t see a blog posts page in your MY SITE Pages dashboard, you will need to add a new page. When the Editor opens, select the Blog template. You don’t need to add anything to that newly created page, just click the Publish button to publish it.

    If you do see a Blog page in the MY SITES Pages dashboard, or after you are back in the Pages dashboard after publishing the Blog page, click on the 3 dots to the right of the Blog page title and select “Set as Homepage.” Your blog posts will now appear on your site’s front page when published.
