changing site name

    When creating my site, I was only given the option to have .design.blog
    In the domain settings there is an option to change it to .wordpress.com – which is my preference. But it won’t let me select that option.
    I would like my website to be .wordpress.com

    Hi there, we’re showing *.blog addresses if you choose blog in setup. Can you try again, and pick website? You’ll then be offered a .wordpress.com address. Or you may be able to just specify the wordpress.com address directly, if it is available.

    Hi, so do I need to begin setup from scratch again to do this?

    In the domain settings the option of .wordpress.com is available but it won’t let me save the changes.

    When changing the address and choosing the .wordpress.com are you also typing in your current address? I mean, type the current address “wotmcr” and then change the subdomain to .wordpress.com, you should see this: https://d.pr/i/0sBhdU
