Changing Site title

  Hi,

  I just registered https://www.kunalmehra.com/ with bluehost today. I’m able to make a couple of basic posts, but am having a hard time trying to figure out how and from where to start configuring the site. Should I do it from:
  1) the bluehost portal, which uses a BH website builder (which, when I click on ‘open website builder’ gives an error saying ‘I don’t have permission to access this page’
  or
  2) by logging into <url>/wp-admin dashboard?

  For example, at the top of the main page, it says “art”. How and where do I change that from? I set it up somewhere, but don’t remember now how to change it.

  Hi there,

  I see that your site is using the WordPress software, so you can’t use Bluehost’s builder. Instead, you have to edit it through the wp-admin dashboard.

  The forum you have posted is for the WordPress.com hosting platform, which is different than the WordPress software that your site is using. You can learn more about these differences here:

  Thanks for the reply.

  I signed up for wordpress.org, but can’t figure out how to make a post in the forum.

  I see a bunch of posts here: https://wordpress.org/support/view/all-topics/

  but don’t see an option to ‘make a new post’. Any idea?

  Hi there, so their forums, you’d start with a category from https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  As it’s a general question, I’d recommend https://wordpress.org/support/forum/miscellaneous/ and there you’ll see a “+ Create Topic” button at the top. :)

  In this case, though, to answer your questions, you can log in from https://kunalmehra.com/wp-login.php and you’ll be able to change your site’s title from Settings > General in your site’s Dashboard.
