    Hello,
    In order to change your text color you must buy the Custom Design Upgrade. It’s $30.00 per blog, per year. It allows you to customize your fonts, colors and CSS.

    Here’s more information on the upgrade : http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/

    Thank you for the reply.

    Unfortunately I have seen all that before and it does not answer my question. The page you linked to claims that one can preview the custom designs. I have tried this. I can find nothing in the preview that allows me to change the font colour of the site title. Not font colours in regular text on posts or pages, and not page titles. Site title text. The site title tab only allows me to change the text, not the colour, both in the free version and in the preview upgrade version.

    If it can’t be done in the preview one is forced to conclude that it can’t be done at all. Can someone demonstrate that this can in fact be done? It’s a simple thing. I’m used to using blogger, and it’s a free and easy adjustment in blogger. Here it is not only a pay feature, it is also far from clear that it is easy to do.

    Thanks for any insight anyone can lend.

    @solonacademy
    In this case you do not require an upgrade. Provided you are logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog, on the Suits theme you can change the color of the site title ie. blog name here > Appearance > Header
    Header Text
    __Show header text with your image.
    Text Color color selector
    “save changes”
