Changing Size of Image on Editor

  Can you not make images smaller on the editor anymore? I used to use this feature a lot and it was very helpful but I can’t find it anymore.

  Changes have been made to the images editor. Have you checked the support documentation for image editing? http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/image-editing/#resizing

  Thanks @timethief. I have to say that I’m not happy with that change and I think that they should still use the old percentage system to make images smaller rather than having to use that. The percentage system was quick and easy to use.

  Do you agree?

  I’ve seen the replies to that forum post and am not sure if they’re working on bringing the old percentages system back or not. Are they?

  It does not matter whether or not I agree. It does not matter how many hundreds post to these support forums and protest. There are 50 million and Staff can simply observer that the majority never complain here in the support forums. Change is inevitable and without it there would be nothing for web developers to do.

  This is timethief logged in under my other username account. I went crazy with this today and also discovered that posting a caption has become a nightmare also – I’m so angry I could spit! Not only has resizing images become freaking nightmare when it used to be as easy pie but the search feature no longer works in my Media Library in my personal blog. Improvements … yeah, sure – says who?

  What I don’t understand is why they’ve made it harder to find out how to work the editor and do actions that could be done quickly and easily originally. Isn’t WP.com supposed to be easy-to-use?

  I still think that WordPress is great but these changes that they’ve made haven’t make me like it as much as I used to. Do you think that it’s possible for them to change some things back to the way they were originally?
