Changing Social Media Option from Footer to Header
-
I would like to be able to add Social media Icons (Twitter and Instagram) to the top of my Home Page – in the top banner/header allowing readers to click through.
I asked WordPress Support and they said I would have to do this with CSS but I need some help with this?!
Please can someone help me?

The theme Cubic you’re using allow social media icon placement on the footer. I’m afraid there’s no way to modify the css unless you modify the underlying code placement.
However, you can disable auto scroll setting so your visitors can see the icon. To change the setting, head to:

We can do this with CSS – move the social icons to the top – but on responsive themes such as Cubic, which adjust to the screen/window they are being viewed on, we typically run into a point where things go awry and title/tagline and the relocated icons start to overlap each other, so what I typically do in cases like this is to use a Media Query to limit the change to only certain screen widths. In the case of your site, I suspect that the collision between elements would happen around 800-900 pixels in width, but then that depends on how many social services you end up with on your site. If you can add the social icons you are going to use, I can take a look and see what I can do for you.
