changing someone's status

    I had a viewer on my site whose status I wanted to change to editor. The site wouldn’t let me do that, so I deleted her, intending to reenter her with the new status. She was deleted from the list but when I tried to reenter her, I get the message that ‘she is already a viewer.’ But she is not! She is not listed anywhere. How do I get out of this cycle?

    Hi, do you know if the user whose role you want to change accepted the invitation? Users need to be invited into a role and accept before they are active.

    Also, can you confirm the URL of the site you’re having trouble with? I ask because you can only invite users to be “viewers” on private sites and uhcventure.wordpress.com is public, so the “follower” title would be available instead.
