Changing spacing/padding between widgets/images in the sidebar
-
Hi, there,
Take a look at my blog- http://www.holleymaher.com
I’m trying to figure out how to change the spacing between the sidebar images (you’ll see that there’s way too much space between the links to my Facebook, twitter, etc.). Is there any way, with the Custom CSS Edit tool, that I can make these images appear closer together?
Please help!

Also are they in individual image widgets or are they in individual text widgets? Or are they all in the same text widget?

They are all separate image widgets, because they all need to link to separate web addresses when you click on them, if that makes sense. Obviously, I couldn’t just make it one image because there would be no way for me to link each “button” to a different web address.
Is there a better way to go about this? I couldn’t come up with one.

Text widget?? Oh… is it possible to just use the text widget and code in the images and their links?

Grrr…
So, I did an html box for the images rather than doing separate image widgets for each of them, but they’re still a bit further apart than I’d like them to be.
I’d really like for them only to be a few pixels apart. Is there any way to do this with CSS Edit?

Modify your image link code in your text widget adding
style="margin-bottom:0;"as below.
a target="_blank" href="http://www.facebook.com/holleymahermusic"> <img src="http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j126/hollice99/facebook-7.jpg" style="margin-bottom:0;"> </a> -
Thank you so much! I’m actually about to start another thread about why my background image isn’t showing up anymore. Lots of issues today. :)

I like your music too. You have a lovely voice and I’m not just flattering you. I can also sing. ;) I’m listening to”Wrecking Ball” right now.
