Changing Spelling of Domain Name

  Hi: I purchased the domain name upgrade for my blog, but forgot to add a letter. The domain name i purchased was womenonwall.org, but i would like to change it to womenonwalls.org. I forgot to add the “s”, so how do i changed the spelling of a purchased domain name so that it appears in the address bar as womenonwalls.org?

  Hi there,

  Due to the nature of domain names, you cannot actually change them. They have to be cancelled and a new one registered in their place.

  Normally we do not refund domains which are past their first 48 hours of life, however I’ve made a one-time exception for you. I’ve gone ahead and cancelled and refunded the misspelled domain that you purchased. You will be seeing the $18 appearing back on your billing statement withing the next few days.

  Please feel free to go in and repurchase the correct spelling at your convenience!
