Changing Spring Loaded

  Hi, I am contemplating re-skinning the Spring Loaded theme. I am reasonably comfortable with adding to the existing CSS but the problem is is that I just do not know what the image sizes of the date tabs are…or the search bar…is there a way I can download the existing image and edit it using photoshop, stick it in my media library and then create a new link?
