Changing Static page
-
Hello, I have changed my paid url jkvegh.com to another server and now I want to keep my blog as jkvegh.wordpress.com w/o the articles attached to it. I am not sure how to do this properly. I have it set up but the “blog” page just has a bunch of things on there. Basically I am trying to go to where this website is just a blog and nothing else. Maybe I will have an about me page to tell people who I am though.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey jkvegh,
It looks like your site is not far off from being a blog with an About page.
Your homepage appears to be set to post your most recent articles.
You could consider removing ‘Blog’ from your menu and simply have your homepage as your recent blog posts with an accompanying About page.
You also mentioned, ‘w/o the articles attached to it’, are you looking to clear your site of the current contents and start fresh? If so, you’ll want to empty your site, here are instructions for doing so: https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/
You can also request staff, if you have a lot of content, to help remove your posts, pages, tags, categories, comments, and uploaded files. Simply type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. Keep in mind, once deleted, it is gone forever. (If you aren’t looking to empty your site, please disregard)
Let us know if you had something else in mind.

No, I don’t want to start fresh!!! I was looking at removing the blog from the menu, it is not on my page screen in admin so I don’t know how to get rid of it. I assume/articles on the URL will change once the blog page is deleted and all the blogs are on the homepage as they are now.
