Changing sub-title size on "piano black" theme

Much appreciated! Yep, already made the change it I’m all set now thanks to you!! :o)
And see, “Customize to your heart’s desire”–you just can’t help yourself on your glowing grace. :o)
You’re welcome on the OneNote–Microsoft should hire me as their OneNote evangelist. ;o) I can’t say enough good things about that software — it altered my existence by not only becoming more organized, but in doing so my thoughts become more structured in the process — which rolls right into the writing. So it all feeds off of OneNote and becomes all the more refined in the process — so that thinking in such ways becomes second nature. Of course, there are plenty of people out there who are incredibly organized and don’t need such tools — but I’m not one of those people. ;o) But the power of the tool is that it drives you in that direction. I could never had done this documentary without it — you would not believe the sheer volume of information I have organized and combed through to write this thing. ;o) But it started well before that — because I’ve been writing a book about this topic for years. And again, the same thing happened with my book — once I started using OneNote to compile and organize all my research, the book’s structure started to come together more so than ever. So instead of having all kinds of materials buried in Word documents, PDFs, and emails — it’s all available to me visually on one screen. And having that visual opens up your world to help you find your way — by seeing the big picture so clearly, you see how to better structure the smaller components :o)
It’s a beautiful thing! :o)
Kind of like how your support is so full of sunshine and can make anyone’s day.
Thanks again — for your help and enthusiasm on my efforts!
Rick :o)

Rick, I took a look. Your site looks great! Nicely done.
And OneNote should pay you to be their spokesperson! Seriously!
Take care. And sending you good vibes for your project! Cheers! :)

Robyn, you managed to make my day — twice in one day! :o) First off, thank you very much for your feedback — that means a lot to me!! Since you’re dealing with websites all day long, I didn’t want to be greedy by asking you to take a look-see — or start “over sharing” details about my project. In other words, out of respect for your time and not wanting to put you on the spot — I didn’t get into all that.
All the more reason why I greatly appreciate that you took it upon yourself to see what I’m up to — and see how your assistance paid off! :o)
By the way, I really combed through a bunch of those themes and was THRILLED when I came across this one. It really sets the tone for what I’m after — though I wouldn’t expect anyone to pick up all the thoughts around the theme. ;o) For example, notice the different shades of gray and black — and how there is a fabric running through the background. That fabric and those colors perfectly capture the underlying theme I am getting at about absorbing information — and that establishing a true understanding is about weaving patterns together (hence the fabric connection and the tag-line). The sources of accurate information on which my documentary is based — partially takes the form of exhaustively detailed papers on technical matters that few would ever take the time to absorb. And yet, lo and behold — people who spend their lives shoveling certitude are not educated in the least on such matters — and refuse to listen to those who are. So they turn around and “educate” others with their ignorance.
It’s all backwards. ;o) But that’s the thing — those people are followed precisely because they are “entertaining” — and make it easy for their audience so they don’t have to think about anything they believe.
Anyway, I’m out to say something about what a sham it all is — and the waste that results from it.
I got a good chuckle out of your OneNote “spokesperson” comment. :o) You know, I almost thanked Microsoft at the end of the documentary — but I didn’t want to change the context and confuse anyone as if I had some of angle to get a job with Microsoft or something. ;o) But in truth, I could not have done this documentary without OneNote.
Many thanks again for sending such good vibes my way! :o)

Hi, Robyn. Hope you are doing well. I have a few questions I would like to run by you.
1) For some reason my mom doesn’t have the “full screen” box in the YouTube video. She has to go out to YouTube to watch the videos in full screen. Any idea why that would be? She’s using Windows 8 — though I wouldn’t think that would matter. I’ve checked two computers here and they both have the “full screen” box on the lower-right.
2) There are a couple of comments on the Prologue page — but under Recent Comments it reads “There are no public comments available to display.” Are those different type of comments?
3) Would it be possible to move the menus down just a bit (so that there is a bit of gray above and below the menus)? I love the color scheme but those menus do blend in a bit with being black, so I thought that if they had a line of gray above them like they do below–it would set them off more. I suspect this probably not something that could be easily done, but I thought I’d ask.
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Rick

This might be a Windows 8 specific issue. You could try to search on Google for solutions on that.

The ‘Recent comments’ widget option is set to only show comments from posts, not pages. You can edit the widget and check the ‘pages’ option: https://mounteverestoftheobvious.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php
3) Would it be possible to move the menus down just a bit (so that there is a bit of gray above and below the menus)?
I’ve just moved the navigation menu a bit down with some Custom CSS.
Please let us know if you need any further assistance!

Thanks a bunch, Kardotim–I very much appreciate you doing that for me on the navigation menu!! And I appreciate your input on the other two items as well.
You guys at WordPress are AWESOME in every sense of the word!!!
