  Hello,
  Just trying to figure out how to change the text color on my page where the “about” me section is on the top right of the page. Also truing to find out how to remove the “recent articles” and “archives.”

  Just trying to figure out how to change the text color on my page where the “about” me section is on the top right of the page.

  The “About” link at the top right of your blog is in what is called the top navigation area. You can adjust the colors for top navigation items in the Photography theme with this CSS:

  .nav a {
  color: green;
  }
  
  .nav a:hover {
  color: grey;
  }

  Change the color names as necessary:

  Or you can use hex color codes instead of color names if you’d like:
  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_colors#Hex_triplet

  Thank you so much!!!! By any chance do you know how to remove that weird glow or splash behind the text? The one thats in this grey box

  To remove the glowyness, try this:

  .entry, #sidebar {
  text-shadow: none;
  }
