Changing text colors, hyperlinking, and inserting images isn’t working.

  Ok WordPress is messing up a lot lately. I can’t change text color anymore in posts or pages, I can’t hyperlink anything, and I can’t insert images into posts or pages anymore. WordPress, can you PLEASE fix this?

  I cannot use the hyperlink feature within blog posts. After selecting the desired text which I want to hyperlink, I click on the icon at the top and the box pops up but I cannot complete the action. IS there something wrong with the wordpress that is causing this?

  There could be a number of causes. The very first thing to do is try the Cookie Dance: log out, clear browser cache and cookies, restart computer. That often fixes these things/

  @granteagle, just use “black” instead of the hex code and it will work, but if you insist, the hex code is #000000.
