Changing text colour causes error

    When I use the visual editor to try and change text colour, the block I am trying to edit turns white. Specifically, this occurs when I select one of the palette colours and then click the ‘Custom color’ button to select a colour.

    In some cases the block just turns into a white rectangle, in others it contains the text ‘This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed.’

    Additionally, when trying to place a navigation bar over a cover picture, text colour does not seem to change.

    I just have a few questions to help me replicate this issue on my end:

    Is this happening on a specific type of block, i.e. paragraph, quote, etc., or with any block?

    Is this happening with new blocks you add? Do you type out the content inside the block, or do you paste the content in from somewhere else?

    What browser are you using, and does it make any difference if you use a different browser?
