changing text in column in ‘fjords04’

Hi there,
just wondering, I have the Fjords04 template up for my bands site, and I was wanting to replace the text in the ‘meta and credits’ column with some audio samples. is there any way I can go about doing this?

i just want to replace the meta and credits, doesn’t even have to be with music.

I’m not sure about the credits, but you should be able to remove the widgets in that column. Go to Design -> Widgets, and choose the last column from the dropdown menu (I think; I haven’t used this theme before), and delete the widgets. If it tells you you have no widgets at all, just add one, and the defaults should disappear.

well, i added some, and it got rid of the meta bit, but i cant seem to get rid of the credits, so im just going to go with another theme.

Yeah, the credits remain no matter what; even with CSS, I think they stay. With other themes the credits will still be there, but at the bottom, if that suits you more :)
By the way, you should consider linking your name to your blog, as explained in the sticky at the top of the forum.

BTW, it’s considered very bad etiquette to remove the designer’s credits from a blog template. Lizii’s right that in some themes they appear at the bottom of the page and so they are less intrusive, but you shouldn’t attempt to remove them.

I figured that was probably why you couldn’t remove them, I was just trying to clean up the page. I’m happy with the one I have now, however.
