changing text in outdated woodojo widget in header area

  I get the following error when trying to change phone number in my header:
  This widget may contain code that may work better in the “Custom HTML” widget. How about trying that widget instead?
  This is the content of my text widget:

  Hi Scott –

  Did you try the html widget? What were the results?

  Go to My Sites – Design – Customize – Widgets – Add – HTML Widget

  Paste your content in that widget and save the changes.

  It didn’t work. It keeps on thinking. Its a fatal error.

  @orthopedicsupply thanks for that — these forums are for the free sites using our managed hosting service, which can be quite different from running your own WordPress installation at another host.

  I did notice this particular plugin has been retired, but its documents might be helpful to you and your developers.

  We can’t help you here. We don’t have access to the site in question because it does not use our managed hosting environment at WordPress.com.

  Instead, your site is set up on the open source WordPress.org software – this is the other version of WordPress.

  Help with that version comes from the forum that my colleague shared previously. It’s at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/.

  Alternatively, you can try asking your hosting provider or theme author for assistance.
