Changing Text Size

  Hello!

  I would like to change the size of some text on a page to make it smaller than the rest of the text on a page. How do I do this?

  Hello,

  Text size on individual pages/posts is handled differently from text size of elements that appear in multiple parts of the site (such as the header, footer, headings, or sidebars).

  So, it depends on which text element or elements you’d like to make smaller. If you provide a few more details about the change you want, we can give you more instructions on how to do that here.

  Hello @torontowagner,

  It’s awesome to see you are using WordPress for your Society site.

  To change the text size please do the following:

  1. In the editor of the Newsletter page click on the “HTML” tab.
  2. Go to the bottom and look for the text you want to resize.
  3. Right at the start of the text add this: <p style="font-size:12px;">
  4. Now, at the end of your text add this: </p>

  After following the steps, your text should look like this:
  <p style="font-size:12px;">*The hard copy sent to members accidentally mentions an old e-mail address for our Chair. The on-line version contains her new e-mail address should a member need to contact her.</p>

  Please, click the “Preview” button to make sure you have achieved the desired effect. If you want to change the size please change the 12px number with a different number as you would in Word.

  What we just did is to use HTML and CSS code to change the aspect of your text.
