changing text size of post headings on home page

  I am having difficulty increasing text size of headings. It seems that any changes I make effects other titles on page. I just want to increase the center column titles on home page, archive pages, search pages, category pages, etc.

  Please try using the css below:

  .home .column-content h2 a,
  .search .column-content h2 a,
  .archive .column-content h2 a {
      font-size: 24px;
  }
