changing the address

  Hi my current blog address is http://www.bakesandblushes.wordpress.com and I want to change it to http://www.thatwhimsygirl.wordpress.com how can I do so? please help.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello, unfortunately, you can’t just change the name. Instead you’ll need to export the content from bakesandblushes.wordpress.com, then import the content into thatwhimsygirl.wordpress.com.

  Instructions for the export/import process are available here:

  After that you’ll probably want to make the old blog private or remove it.

  Also, if you don’t mind, can you tell me where is where is the tool icon in wordpress. Not al all familier with this new wordpress format

  After reading some other posts, I discovered there really is a way to just change the name (thanks @timethief). While you can do it the way I listed before, this other option appears simpler. Step-by-step instructions are available here:

  To answer your question about the tool icon, it’s located near the bottom of your dashboard (click “My Sites”, then “WP Admin” to get there).
