Changing the address of your blog

  Hi everyone. I was wondering if it was possible to change the http://www.whatevergoeshere.wordpress.com. Is it possible to change the part ‘whatevergoes here’ to something else? Thank you

  Hi. You cannot “change” the address, but you can create a new blog and move your content there. The following support doc gives the steps to follow:

  Or you could buy a domain name and domain mapping and have your own domain without the wordpress in it.
