Changing the appearance

  I just started a blog and have already published one entry but now I want to change the appearance. How do I do that? Thank you.

  in the top left click “my account” then “edit profile” and in the list of things on the left it says “appearance”

  how about uploading a custom theme i just got at http://wordpressthemesbase.com and using it? i try to think but it gives me a headache

  You can use external themes in wordpress.com, See support document
