Changing the appearance of the grid template in Sela theme
-
Hi
I’ve seen a similar posting and checked the answer but not sure if it will work for me. I would like one of my grid template pages to have more than 4 items. I have created 8 pages with the Recipes page as the parent. The titles of the pages show but the featured images don’t – so I am imagining this is something to do with formatting the featured image size as it appears in the parent page? I would like to have flexibility in future to change the grid template appearance so learning how to do this now would be very valuable.
Thank you!

Actually I’m wondering if the issue isn’t more to do with having a child page linked to another child page (a grandchild page?)
My structure is:
Main page (grid template)
which has 4 photos linking to 4 child pages.I then want 2 of the 4 child pages to be grid templates and link to the next level of child (grandchild) pages.
In this case, the featured images from the grandchild pages do not appear on the child page.
Did I break it? :-)

me again….:-)
I’ve realised my problem is because I’ve added this code.
I wanted to get rid of the large featured image at the top of the child pages so I added:
.page-child .entry-thumbnail {
display: none ;
}which worked!
Unfortunately – all the grid page photos are also entry-thumbnails – that’s why it’s erased them all.
Anyway around this – so I get rid of the featured images in the child pages but keep the other entry-thumbnails?
Thanks
