Changing the background color of a specific page
-
I would like to edit the CSS of a specific single page so when viewed on the homepage as a feature it looks like a band of color with graphic on top. Any suggestions? thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there, I’d be happy to help!
Would you mind letting me know which page you are referring to? Do you want the design on only when it shows on the homepage or on the actual page itself as well? Does the band of colour fill the whole section except for the graphic just along the top?
Thanks,

Thank so much Sage!
My nieces name is Sage, love it!It’s the homepage titled “we can help”. I would like the background to be cyan, text to be white. Only where there is copy show between the feature slider and the service feature on the homepage. Possible?
Thanks! Angela

Haha, thanks! I don’t often meet people with my name so it’s always pretty cool to hear about another :)
Is this what you were thinking?
.home #page-113 { background-color: #00aeef; color: #FFF; } .home #page-113 .headline { color: #FFF; }Let me know if that’s not it,

I’m a total newbie at editing this. Exactly where would I paste this, in the HTML tab of the homepage?

J/K, i put it in the Customizing CSS panel, but nothing happened, nor did it keep the code in place after saving and publishing- ummm
