Changing the background color of an image block

I’m trying to create a color bar across my entire WordPress page behind a specific image block. Currently, I’ve only succeeded in changing the background color of the entire page. The link to the page is here https://madisonsfootsteps.com/claim-freebie/ and I’m trying to only have the purple extend to right underneath the ‘download here’ button. Does anyone know any custom CSS to make this happen?

Alternatively, and I’m not sure if this will work with your theme, you could try to do something similar using a “Group block” with the Full width option and a custom background color set in the sidebar. The group block can hold image blocks nested inside.
