Changing the background throughout my website

  I would like to change the background throughout my site, but when i do I can’t see my changes. I think that I need to adjust the width of my site in order to see it. Please advise

  Hi there, right now under Customize > Theme Options > Website Layout, the site width is set to the Wide (Default) layout. Change that to “Slim and save and visit your site and see how things look for you and let me know.
