Changing the blog interface language
-
Hi!
I have run into some trouble with my blog. I started a blog in swedish in which i obviously want all the buttons in the interface to be displayed in swedish as well (like add comment, home etc). Now, I selected primary blog language to swedish when I created the blog, and the day is displayed in swedish after a post but nothing else in the blog.
How do I go about to change this?

Change what specifically? Change it back to a different language or what?
Also please provide a link to your blog so we can see what is occuring.

Right, i want all buttons such as “add comment”, “home” and all other links in the interface to be shown in swedish (I know its possible as I have friends who its working for).
As stated in my original post the language selected for the blog is swedish, but for some reason that isnt applying to all of the interface.
Here is the URL to the blog: http://lofving.wordpress.com

Some links would be helpful so we can see what is occuring. You may be looking at blogs not hosted here at wp.com so it may not be possible currently.
Also feel free to help out with the translation project if you have some free time:

As you can see in this blog ( http://makanamini.wordpress.com/ ) the buttons such as “add comment” and home are all in swedish. Compare it with my blog and you will notice the difference.
I want it to be like its displayed in makan’s blog.
Cheers for taking the time mike!

That’s a different theme which is coded differently. The one that you’re using probably isn’t coded to use the translation data. A lot of theme designers don’t work that in.
Best bet would be to 1) work on the translation project as it appears Swedish is only about half done and 2) suggest to staff via feedback on monday that they work on allowing translations of the themes via the translation project.
