Changing the blog that a subdomain points at

  We set up a new blog to work on instead of working on our live blog. Now that we have the changes in place, we are trying to change the blog address lapalmeracc.wordpress.com to point to the blog currently set up as lpstyleguide.wordpress.com. Every time we try this, it says the blog name is in use, so we tried changing the original blog name to reuse it, and this just created a new blank blog with the old name. Please help!

  Here are the steps you’d need to follow:

  1. Go to the Dashboard for lpalmeracc.wordpress.com
  2. Visit Store > Store to load the Store page.
  3. Scroll down until you see the “Site Redirect” upgrade.
  4. Purchase the upgrade, and then follow the instructions given on this page to set up the redirect: http://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/
