Changing the blog to a website instead of webblog

    I need to establish a website instead of a webblog. I’m a student working on establishing a website for an assignment, and I mistakenly went with webblog instead of an actual website for doing pages. How do I make that change?

    If you’re going to be creating a new site then choosing “Business” rather than “Blog” at step one will give you a better chance of getting a free subdomain just ending in .wordpress.com (assuming the address ending in .blog was your issue). Otherwise a website is a blog and vice versa. It’s all down to how you set your site up. A blog has a posts page with regularly updated content front and centre. A website tends to be a series of static pages that visitors navigate via a menu.
