changing the blog url

  hi, i would like to change my web address, but when i change it and press save it still keeps the old one, if someone could help with this please that would be great, also why do i have an account with i think its called gravitas.

  Assuming the .WordPress.com blog address you want is available, you can change it by using these instructions, > changing a blog address > http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  Or if what you want to do is purchase your own domain and then it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com blg URL is > http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/register-domain/

  Note: Deleted blog URLs here are not recycled.
