Changing the Blog URL

  I cannot change my blog address, the details in the system tell me to do this via the dashboard but when i click the “My Blogs” option and change the listed address and save it, it tells me “the blog URL doesnt exist, do i want to Register it?”

  Why does it not save?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  What is the URL you are trying to enter please?

  Did you use this guide? http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  That option will permanently disable the address and you will not be able to reuse it. Only select this option if you are sure you will not use the address again.

  If you want to redirect traffic to the new blog, and retain and page rank the blog has or authority your have gained in the niche then you can keep the address and purchase the Site Redirect upgrade.
