Changing the blog's name

    Hi, I don’t like the name(the web address)of my blog anymore. I just want to confirm if changing it to a new address will keep the contents of the blog intact. I’m a bit nervous to do this step without any input for this.

    Howdy familyrsa!

    Unless you’re mapping a registered domain to the site, you can’t change it to a new address unless you create a new site.

    If you plan to create a new site with the format of domain.wordpress.com you can create the new site, set the same theme, and then follow the instructions to changing your blog address to one you already own.
