Changing the Category IDs so that it changes the Permalink

  I am administrator for a couple of websites that use a custom wordpress theme. This is the main site: http://nukleuz.com. The Permalinks have the custom structure (/%category%/%postname%/). Many of my posts are assigned to multiple categories. The Permalinks always seem to take the category that has the highest ranking. For many of my posts this is not ideal. I would like to be able to choose which of the categories the Permalink takes without having to remove any of the associated categories.

  I have a little but not confident coding ability. Is there an easy way to do this?
