Changing the color of the background's background
-
Hi, I’m not technically sure how to refer to this space, but I would like to change the color of the space outside of the sidebars on my blog; currently white space (Structure theme). I have tried changing different parameters in CSS code, but haven’t found the right one yet.
Thanks in advance for your help and time! Hope you are all enjoying the summer!

This is going to take a while since obviously you have somewhere around 3.5 million large image on your site and I waited for nearly 3 minutes and your site had still not finished loading.
Go to settings > reading and set your site to show at most perhaps 3 posts per page (I’m guessing since nothing had yet appeared after 3 minutes on my wireless internet connection).
I’ll have to set one of my test blogs up with Structure and work off that. I would rather work off your site so that I can see what you have already done, but I can’t until you change things so it doesn’t take so long to load.

The hex color codes I have below are just place holders. The first one is the outer area outside the wrapper. The second is the wrapper for the content. Add the following to your CSS and see what you think.
body { background-color: #CC0000; } #wrap { background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #FFFFFF; } -
OK, finally got your site to load and perhaps it was flickr that was slowing things down the first time.
Try the above code and then let us know if that works for you.

Thank you so much thesacredpath!!! You are always so helpful. I just got to my computer and tried your code and it worked beautifully; exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for letting me know about the delayed loading time. I hadn’t gotten that feedback before and greatly appreciate it. Yes, the blog is very picture heavy, so I may need to take your advice and display fewer posts on the home page. Thanks again!!!
Hope you are enjoying a terrific summer!
